Abstract: Knowledge Based Systems (KBS) are often employed in advanced robotized, semi-automatic manufacturing systems. In this work, we present an experimental procedure which could significantly enhance the knowledge content of a KBS with respect to the mechanical features of sintered components manufactured by means of Rapid Prototyping (RP) techniques.
