Paolo Gallina è nato a Castelfranco Veneto (TV) (Italy) il 18 settembre 1971. Si laurea nel 1996 in Ingegneria Meccanica all'Università di Padova. Nel 1999 riceve il titolo di Dottore di Ricerca in Meccanica Applicata presso l'Università di Brescia, Brescia (Italia). Dal 1999 al 2002 è stato ricercatore di Meccanica Applicata all'Università di Padova. E' stato visiting professor all'Ohio University nel 2000/1. Attualmente, risultato vincitore di concorso, è incardinato al Dipartimento di Energetica, Università di Trieste, Trieste, col ruolo di professore associato di Meccanica Applicata. I suoi campi di ricerca riguardano le vibrazioni, le interfacce uomo macchina, la robotica, specialmente applicata alla riabilitazione.
