ARCO - Early robotic-assisted post-stroke rehabilitation of the upper limb with the NeReBot

description: The main goal of the ARCO Project is to evaluate the clinical efficacy and the economical benefits deriving by the employment of a cable-suspended robot in the rehabilitation treatment of the upper limb of stroke patients in the sub-scute phase. In this second Randomized Controlled Trial (RCT) of the NeRebot, a new treatment protocol will be emlpoyed, including both traditional and robot-asssisted exercises. In this protocol, the total daily treatment time will be the same for the therapy group and for the control group. Moreover, some improvements of the robot will be implemented, provinding a real-time performance-related feedback (score) to the patient during treatment.
