SIMPATICO - Passive and active mechatronic systems interacting with the human operator

type: Veneto Innovazione
period: 2003-2005
head: prof. Aldo Rossi

description: The main goal of the SIMPATICO project is to develop a new integrated lab facility, able to certify the functionality of complex non-standard mechatronics systems. The project came up from the need of the automation industry of developing and testing new integrated machines, especially in the field of man-machine interaction. A haptic interface for rehabilitation will be developed and certified to test the facility.
