Pose3D is a single frame model based three-dimensional optical tracking device. The system is made up of a 60fps digital TV camera, a PCI frame grabber and a frame holding four infra-red LEDs. Three-dimensional pose recovery of the LED frame is performed using a new iterative pose estimation algorithm, based on simple geometrical considerations derived from the stereoscopy theory.
