Luca Baldessin was born in Motta di Livenza on June 13, 1982. He achieved the master degree in Mechanical Engineering in April 2008, at University of Udine, Italy, discussing the thesis “Design of an Innovative Robot for Neurosurgery”, with result 110 summa cum laude. Chairman: prof. Alessandro Gasparetto. He is currently working as Research Assistant at the Department of Electrical, Mechanical and Managerial Engineering (DIEGM) of University of Udine. His current research interests include the study of medical robotics, kinematics of the closed chain spatial mechanisms and control of embedded devices.
