Stefano Cenci received in march 2006 the Laurea degree "magna cum laude" in Mechanical Engineering at University of Padua, Italy. He discussed a thesis concerning the design of a positioning system for surgical devices. On March 2010 he received the PhD in Industrial Engineer with specialization in Mechatronics and Industrial Systems with a thesis about haptic devices for industrial lifting system. He is currently a research fellow in the DIMEG's (Department of Innovation in Mechanics and Management) Automation Laboratories of the University of Padua. His current occupation is about designing and prototyping of innovative tools for flexible automatic assembly. His research interests include automation, medical robotics and haptic interfaces.
