Mattia Andreolli obtained the Master Degree in Electronic Engineering at the University of Padua, Italy, in March 2003. He discussed a thesis concerning the application of Nurbs Surfaces in Virtual Environments for Haptic Interfaces. Then, in March 2007, he obtained the Ph.D. degree in Applied Mechanics (Robotics) at University of Brescia, Italy, with a thesis titled "A robotic system for the upper limb neurorehabilitation".
He is currently working as IT Manager at the Department of Innovation in Mechanics and Management (DIMEG) of University of Padua. His current research interests include RealTime software, medical robotics and haptic interfaces.
