The Mechatronics team in Vicenza, at the Padua University branch in Vicenza (DTG), carries out both educational (Mechatronics, Applied Mechanics, and Robotics and Automation classes) and research tasks. Research is primarily done into the new Automation and Robotics laboratory housed inside a building closed to the head offices.
The chief research areas investigated in the Automation and Robotics laboratory are modeling and control of flexible link manipulators, applied robotics, and industrial automation. As far as automation is concerned, we are currently co-operating with industrial partners on important research projects.
